The Youth Political Rights Advocacy Group held its April meeting on April 11, 2016 in FEFA HQ. The meeting began with introduction of new members of group and presenting of information on activities and performance of group for them.
The meeting began with presentation of information on Free & Fair Election Forum of Afghanistan (FEFA) and then the facilitator of group presented information on history, performance and activities of YPRAG to new members.
The facilitator of group said, “The YPRAG was established in 2014 and registered with Youth Deputy of Ministry of Information and Culture. The group has held public awareness programs for youth in 22 districts of Kabul city.” She added that the group reviewed the national youth policy and developed a recommended proposal on amendment of this policy. According her, after the development of recommended proposal on amendment of the Youth National Policy the group wanted to set a meeting with the Youth Deputy Minister of Information & Culture to present the recommended proposal on amendment of the National Youth Policy but unfortunately failed to meet the Youth Deputy Minister. Likewise, the group wrote a book titled the Young Figures and explained the biography and achievements of youth who have been active in social activities but were never appreciated by government or non-government institutions.
At the end of the meeting the new members YPRAG filled up the membership form of YPRAG and officially became members of the group.
